1. ADL is used as a distribution layer between the top layer of the diaper raw material and the absorbent core, as a medium for rapid liquid diversion.
2. This distribution layer - ADL - is particularly needed when the absorbent core is very thin to quickly move liquid into the absorbent core and reduce potential leakage.
