Sandler, a German nonwoven material manufacturer, recently launched a modular system for the hygiene products market - layerlab, providing customized solutions for different application scenarios.
Modular design, flexible response to diverse needs
The layerlab system covers multiple functional layers in absorbent hygiene products, including:
Topsheet: quickly absorbs liquid and provides a dry experience;
Acquisition guide layer (ADL): efficient diversion and intermediate storage of liquid;
Backsheet: ensure reliable protection and breathability.
Three major product categories
According to different needs, layerlab provides three major product categories to meet diverse product designs:
Standard type: with mature Sandler quality and stable processing performance;
High-end type: provides special fiber performance, higher strength and soft touch;
Sustainable type: using biodegradable or 100% bio-based raw materials, suitable for plastic replacement products, reducing carbon footprint.
The launch of layerlab not only enhances the flexibility of product design, but also further consolidates Sandler's leadership in the baby care, feminine hygiene and incontinence care markets, providing customers with more reliable and sustainable nonwoven material options.
