Kimberly-Clark (Nanjing) Care Products Co., Ltd. recently launched the "Kimberly-Clark Nanjing Plant Phase III Expansion Project" in Jiangning Development Zone, Nanjing, marking another major investment by Kimberly-Clark in the Chinese market.

Kimberly-Clark Nanjing Plant is an important production base of the company in China. It is located in Jiangning Development Zone with a registered capital of more than US$100 million. It integrates production and manufacturing, quality control, product innovation, engineering project management and logistics management. It is a world-class production and research and development center. The planned land area of the Phase III expansion project launched this time is about 55 mu, and the new plant is about 27,000 square meters. It is expected to start construction in March 2025 and be completed and put into production in April 2026. After the project is completed, the annual output value of the Nanjing plant is expected to reach 2 billion yuan.
Currently, Kimberly-Clark's two factories in Nanjing produce about 4.5 billion baby diapers and feminine care products each year. This flash expansion project is not only to expand production capacity, but Kimberly-Clark will also improve product innovation, production efficiency and supply chain management, so that its product research and development and new technology applications are closer to the needs of Chinese consumers.
